As our Director of Information Systems, you’ll lead one of our information systems teams by helping to ensure our clinical operations are second to none. This role will partner with senior leadership and field teams to provide the highest quality of operational delivery for our clinical systems with particular emphasis on Cerner Millennium.
You will report directly to the Chief Information Officer and be base out of our office in Nashville, TN. We’re a company of continual improvement and as our Director of Information Systems, you’ll have an opportunity to showcase your innovation and creativity to realize unlimited possibilities.
The Director of Information Systems will:
Work with Senior leadership to develop short and long-term vision and strategic plans in alignment with and support for the health system’s strategies and goals.
Ensure the team & processes are in place to effectively support the clinical applications across a 5 hospital system.
Create a culture of continuous improvement of the clinical applications operations. Work with local leadership to develop business cases that help justify and prioritize initiatives while adhering to overall mission and plan.
Define requirements, goals & objectives, critical success factors, project barriers, resources etc. with the ultimate goal of delivering the correct solution.
Be accountable for providing senior level technical direction and oversight to application teams during complete life cycle development of projects to ensure the delivery of applications that meet and exceed the accepted industry benchmarks for software quality.
