The Resource Group, LLC, a subsidiary of Ascension, is an end-to-end resource and supply management organization that provides a portfolio of Contracting Services, Operations and Logistics Services, Integrated Change Management, and Implementation Services to its Participants through a number of Solutions and Solution Support structures.
The Resource Group serves Ascension and non-Ascension Participants at 1,900 sites of care – including 131 hospitals and more than 30 senior care facilities – in 23 states and the District of Columbia. Ascension employs more than 150,000 associates. These locations include general acute care hospitals, long-term acute care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, senior care facilities, physician offices, and other entities throughout the continuum of care. Non-Ascension Participants represent healthcare, higher education, industry, and more.
As both an aggregator and a consumer of its contracts, The Resource Group delivers sustainable value by engaging end-users at the beginning of the contracting process and following through to the implementation of initiatives and realization of savings. Through our wholly-owned group purchasing organization (GPO), The Resource Group utilizes its contract portfolio to deliver value to Participants and Suppliers through increased efficiency, decreased waste, and reduced costs.
