President and Chief Executive Officer, Ascension Health Alliance

Anthony R. Tersigni, EdD, FACHE, serves as President and CEO of Ascension Health Alliance, whose subsidiaries include Ascension Health, the nation’s largest Catholic and nonprofit health system. Dr. Tersigni is the first President and CEO of Ascension Health Alliance, which began operations on January 1, 2012, as part of an organizational redesign to increase clarity, focus and accountability in a changing healthcare environment. Dr. Tersigni had served as President and CEO of Ascension Health since June 18, 2004. Previously he served as Ascension Health’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from January 2001 through December 2003. He was interim CEO for the System beginning in January 2004.

Sister Bernice Coreil, DC

Senior Executive Advisor to the President, Ascension Health Alliance

Sr. Bernice Coreil, DC, is the Senior Executive Advisor to the President of Ascension Health Alliance. She previously held a similar position at Ascension Health since its founding. Her experience in health ministry ranges from Business Manager to Chief Executive Officer, and in Provincial Leadership as Health Councillor and Visitatrix of the Daughters of Charity, West Central Province.

John D. Doyle

John D. Doyle is the Executive Vice President, Ascension Health Alliance, and the President and CEO, Ascension Health Holdings. AH Holdings is comprised of a portfolio of companies designed to add value to the organization by providing services to the Health Ministries of Ascension Health as well as other health systems in the United States and internationally. Doyle, along with other executives, will also oversee incubation of transformational solutions and innovative relationships that have the potential to accelerate accomplishment of Ascension Health’s Strategic Direction. He previously served as Ascension Health’s Chief Strategy Officer and General Manager,
Transformational Development.

Robert J. Henkel, FACHE

Robert J. Henkel, FACHE, is the President and CEO of Ascension Health. He also serves as an Executive Vice President of Ascension Health Alliance. Before being named President and CEO, he served as the President, Healthcare Operations and Chief Operating Officer at Ascension Health. Prior to 2004, he served as President of the Great Lakes and Mid-Atlantic States Operating Group at Ascension Health.

Joseph R. Impicciche, J.D., M.H.A.

Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Ascension Health Alliance

Joseph Impicciche is Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Ascension Health Alliance. Impicciche provides legal counsel to Ascension Health Alliance, its leadership, and governance as well as coordinating legal services for major projects and transactions and manages outside legal relationships. He was previously Senior Vice President, Legal Services and General Counsel for Ascension Health.

Susan Nestor Levy

Susan Nestor Levy serves as the Executive Vice President, Ascension Health Alliance, and President and CEO, Ascension Health Global Mission. Ms. Levy has responsibility for international mission outreach efforts by Ascension Health Alliance that are designed to improve the health and living status of targeted global populations. She previously served as Chief Advocacy Officer for Ascension Health and Executive Director of Seton Institute.

Sister Maureen McGuire, DC

Senior Vice President, Mission Integration, Ascension Health

Sister Maureen McGuire, DC, is Executive Vice President, Mission Integration, Ascension Health Alliance, and Senior Vice President, Mission Integration, Ascension Health. In this role, she provides leadership in creating strategy and initiatives in Mission and Values integration, workplace spirituality, ethics, leadership formation and spiritual care. Her work supports the efforts of Health Ministry CEOs, Vice Presidents for Mission Integration and executive teams in their leadership of Ascension Health as a ministry continuing the healing mission of Jesus.

David B. Pryor, MD

David B. Pryor, MD, is the Executive Vice President, Ascension Health Alliance and the President and CEO, Clinical Holdings. Pryor is responsible for providing leadership to initiatives that will benefit from his expertise in clinical excellence. Clinical Holdings will provide services to assist physicians in running their practices and build the capacity to provide person-centered care within population health management. He previously served as Chief Medical Officer of Ascension Health.

Anthony J. (Tony) Speranzo is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Ascension Health Alliance. Mr. Speranzo leads all finance aspects of Ascension Health Alliance, including treasury functions, debt management, investments and mergers and acquisitions. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ascension Health.
