Vice President, Mission Initiatives
Peggy Kurusz, B.S., M.B.A., is the Vice President, Mission Initiatives for Ascension Health. In this role, Ms. Kurusz has responsibility for fostering the integration of the Ascension Health Catholic Identity, Mission and Values within the Strategic Initiatives. She is responsible for leading all aspects of implementation, coordination, ongoing development and evaluation of mission interventions including Patient Experience and collaborates to oversee the strengthening of the Model Community of engaged associates.
Project Specialist, Ascension Health Experience Team
Staci Albenesius joined Ascension Health as a Project Analyst in Research & Development in January 2006. She received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo., and a master of business administration (MBA) with a dual emphasis in marketing and management from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her primary focus as a Project Specialist is work to define and deliver a consistent, exceptional Ascension Health Experience.
Manager, Ascension Health Experience Team
David joined Ascension Health and the Healthcare That Works Research and Development Team in November 2003. His primary responsibilities include Health Ministry consulting, project development and facilitating programs on important topics such as emotional intelligence and communication in support of the patient experience.

Pat Herrmann is responsible for development and definition work around the patient experience. He manages a systemwide patient experience data base and is responsible for developing metrics and research on the patient experience. Previously Pat worked with Ascension Health’s St.Vincent Health in
