Product Development seeks to develop internal innovations and intellectual capital. Within Ascension Health, there are many assets with untapped value — promising innovations that have not been fully developed. In select cases, these new product or business opportunities offer the potential to address industry needs, demonstrate best practice potential and generate additional revenue for Ascension Health.

The product development team also provides the overall coordination of the Healthcare That Works initiative, inasmuch as this work envisions, in a sense, the creation of the master product — safe, accessible, appropriate, adaptable, affordable and patient-focused healing environments for the future.
