JoAnn Webster

JoAnn Webster is Vice President, Access Leadership, for Ascension Health.

Ms. Webster works with our hospitals and community coalitions throughout the country to develop local models that provide access to care for the uninsured and then showcase that work nationally for the purpose of creating a permanent national solution to the problem of the uninsured in this country. In 2005 she began working with a new executive leadership program providing coaching and consulting to hospital CEOs throughout Ascension Health, supporting their development as leaders in providing access to healthcare for the uninsured in their communities.

Ms. Webster has 28 years of healthcare experience, including 11 years in clinical nursing and management, 11 years in managed care executive positions, and six years in consulting positions. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Missouri in Columbia (1978), and her Masters in Business Administration from City University in Seattle (1993).
