Joshua Brinkley
Joshua Brinkley joined Ascension Health in December 2007. His primary responsibilities as Project Manager, Access Leadership include the development and distribution of guidelines, templates and tools that will be used by Health Ministries and affiliates to analyze the Return on Community Investment (ROCI) of the Access Model work in which they are engaged.
Mr. Brinkley came to St. Louis from Ascension Health Information Services in Nashville, Tenn., where he served as a Project Management Associate in the Clinical Information Systems Department. In this role, he assisted in the implementation of the Cerner Clinical Foundation Suite of applications to a number of Health Ministries. Prior to this, he worked in various finance and project management roles at Saint Thomas Health Services in Nashville. Mr. Brinkley also participated in Nashville’s Bridges to Care program, where he developed an interest in, and a passion for, Access Models and their leadership.
Mr. Brinkley is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), as recognized by the Project Management Institute. He also is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
A native of Huntsville, Ala., Mr. Brinkley is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Health Administration. While attending UAB, Mr. Brinkley played soccer and was named team captain during his last three seasons.
Mr. Brinkley lives in St. Louis, Mo., with his wife Kimen, daughter Hollye Anne, two dogs and two cats.
