 John (Jack) W. Logue

John (Jack) W. Logue currently serves as a member of the Sponsors Council of Ascension Health. He retired in 2002 from a respected career in healthcare, and now serves part-time as the Director of the Spirituality Center at St. Vincent’s HealthCare, Jacksonville, Fla.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Logue was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at St. Vincent’s HealthCare. He also served as the President and as the Chief Operating Officer at Carney Hospital, Boston, and as an Assistant Administrator at Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital, Binghamton, N.Y.
Mr. Logue has a bachelor’s degree in education and business administration from Southwest Missouri State College, Springfield, Mo., and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from St. Louis University. He also did graduate work in guidance and counseling at Wisconsin State University, Oshkosh. He received advanced certification in the field of formative spirituality at Epiphany Academy of Formative Spirituality, Pittsburgh, and he completed a three-year Audire Program for the formation of spiritual directors at San Pedro Center in the Diocese of Orlando, Fla.
Mr. Logue is active in the Jacksonville area. He serves on the Board of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, the Community Hospice Foundation, All Saints Nursing Home, Emergency Pregnancy Services and the St. Vincent’s Foundation. He also serves as the Board Chair at St. Boniface Haiti Foundation, Boston. He has been involved with mission work in Fond des Blanc, Haiti, for the past 20 years, helping the mission grow from a one-room clinic staffed one-day per month to a 30-bed hospital with a fully equipped operating room and six full-time Haitian physicians.
