Sister Honora Remes, DC
Sponsors Council

Sr. Honora Remes, DC, currently serves as a member of the Sponsors Council of Ascension Health and is the Visitatrix for the East Central Province of the Daughters of Charity.

Sr. Honora has taught English and religion. She served on the faculty of Marillac College, St. Louis, and in various Catholic high schools in Iowa, Illinois and Mississippi. Sr. Honora pastored in Saginaw, Mich., for 14 years. She is an experienced spiritual director.

She received her bachelor’s degree in English from Marillac College, St. Louis, and earned two master’s degrees - one in English from Loyola University, Chicago, and a second in Christian spirituality from Creighton University, Omaha, Neb.
